The goal of this blog is first and foremost to provide an outlet for which I can share my travels and experiences to the world. I in no way intend to be a decisive authority on everything I review. It’s important to remember that opinions are subjective and are not objective truths. Scoring each service I review is intended for entertainment purposes only, as well as to reflect my experiences while using said service. Just because a service scores highly doesn’t mean it’s perfect, and experiences can vary greatly from person to person. Please remember that my scores are reflective of my experiences alone and may be unrepresentative of others’ experiences.
In regard to the scoring system, I grade on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the absolute lowest and 10 being the highest. If my scores seem to skew on the higher end of the scale, that’s because they do. For me, a perfectly average station with decent service, amenities, and surroundings would score a 7/10, not a 5/10. Consider the grading scale a curved scale, with 7 being pretty solid and a 5 or below to be quite poor.
Lastly, the services I choose to review are purely representative of my personal travels and interests. “Stop Requests” do have a legitimate impact on my decision-making process, but ultimately what I decide to review comes down to my own convenience. Please be considerate of requesting a stop that’s an inconvenience for me to access or requesting a stop in a generally unsafe area. While I will not disclose what is easy to access for me and what is not, just be aware that if I have not gotten to your stop request for an extended period of time, generally 6 months or more, than that service may be an inconvenience for me to visit, and would require me to plan an entire day to go and review said service.
Once again, the main goal of this blog is to document my personal experiences, while also providing lighthearted banter and my opinions as to the quality of the service being provided. I in no means intend to hurt other people’s feelings, and wish to keep discussion surrounding these services and my opinions civil and respectful first and foremost.
